Synopsis of Firstlife

Tenley “Ten” Lockwood is an average seventeen-year-old girl…who has spent the past thirteen months locked inside the Prynne Asylum. The reason? Not her obsession with numbers, but her refusal to let her parents choose where she’ll live — after she dies. There is an eternal truth most of the world has come to accept: Firstlife is merely a dress rehearsal, and real life begins after death.

In the Everlife, two realms are in power: Troika and Myriad, long-time enemies and deadly rivals. Both will do anything to recruit Ten, including sending their top Laborers to lure her to their side. Soon, Ten finds herself on the run, caught in a wild tug-of-war between the two realms that will do anything to win the right to her soul. Who can she trust? And what if the realm she’s drawn to isn’t where the boy she’s falling for lives? She just has to stay alive long enough to make a decision…

ALL OF THE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is one of my favourite series ever, not too mention look at those GORGEOUS covers! I absolutely loved these books and would recommend them to any fantasy and dystopian loved. This is 100% and underrated series and I’m not sure why. Its definitely not for everyone but it’s amazing.

Thus book is full of an amazing bunch of characters, a strong female lead, war, good and evil, deception and friendship. Oh, did I mention there’s a tatted bad boy named Killian, hes Irish and says Lass a lot? Yea, so there’s that.

So this is basically a fantasy set in a dystopian world where when people die their spirit lives on in one of two realms: Troika or Myriad. Troika is basically lush gardens, gorgeous glittering buildings full of peace and happiness where Myriad is dark full of danger, thrill, temptations and power. Before a person dies they need to pledge their allegiance to one of the two realm if they don’t they end up in a place called Many Ends which is pretty much living hell.

The two realms are at war with each other and Myriad wants to control both while Troika just wants peace between the two so people are free to travel between the realms and live harmoniously. The series is fast paced, has such an interesting concept and the format of the book is interesting because there are pages that are set up like emails and text messages.

The Series is told from Tenley Lockwood’s POV who is a kickass female. She’s tough, sassy, intelligent, compulsive and stubborn. Ten refuses to be coerced into choosing a side which leads to lots of trouble, danger and friendships.Ten also has  thing for numbers so when she gets stressed or anxious she spouts facts about numbers. Shes also a pro at making up poems that have double meanings. Then there’s Archer and Killian who are enemies and trying to win Ten over but things get out of hand, real fast!

I just cant even express how much I love this series but trust me you need to read it.

If you’re interested in dystopian or fantasy I would recommend this series.
